Uses and Applications
Polypropylene is one of the most economical types of plastic pipe fittings. It offers a number of the benefits of more expensive PTFE good resistance to both basic and acidic chemicals. PP-lined piping can be used safely in temperatures up to 225ºF. It possesses some abrasion resistance and becomes brittle at lower temperatures.

PP Lined Pipe & Fittings Brands
SEMCOR is an authorized distributor of PP pipe fittings by Resistoflex®, a leading manufacturer of fluid handling products. Through this partnership, we are able to offer the company’s comprehensive lineup of products, including both polypropylene copolymer and polypropylene homopolymer lining, in a wide range of sizes and configurations.
Polypropylene homopolymer linings are typically used with 1”-8” swaged pipe and 1”-12” fittings. Polypropylene copolymer linings are somewhat more ductile and possess lower temperature resistance. They are used with Thermalok® piping between 1”-12”.
